The little things...

Well the husband is playing GI Joe this weekend in Wyoming and I am left at home to entertain myself. Which most the time is not hard for me to do. I am quite easily amused.

I found these bowls at the store and HAD to have them;) I love fall and these colors remind me of fall and all the changing colors of the leaves on the trees. (and in my yard, that I should be raking) Also love these colorful measuring spoons below.....

And it would not be fall if we didn't make something with pumpkin in it now would it?? So I decided to make something my kids have loved every fall and that is Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins.
They are really, really good if I do say so myself. So I will give you the recipe so you can make them and try for yourself......

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs (already beaten)
1 cup ground pumpkin (canned)
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/4 tsp baking soda
Mix together. Bake @ 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.

Also at the store I found The Proposal was just newly released and loved the movie so HAD to pick that up too. It's amazing you go to the store for some laundry soap and come home with new bowls and a movie as well. So not only did I spend more than I was meaning too, I also went to get soap to get some laundry done, but instead think I will just sit on the sofa and enjoy my new movie....the laundry can wait, right??

Hmph, I went downtown to have a little break and the Lampstand was closing and the whole place was dead. Not very good for this stir-crazy lonely person. :(

I know they were open in the am, because we stopped by?? That's odd for them to close on Sat.?? I hope you still had your little break. Where are the boys?
