love this commercial!!!

cake servers

had to attend a wedding reception (which was beautiful) this weekend and above were a few of the cake servers. i was beginning to wonder if they would be able to handle it

football and snacks.

chuck and i walked downtown today to the farmers market and picked up a few things

a guy was roasting chilles so we just had to get plasitc bag of those.

Peach salsa, one for us, and one for our friends house tonight to watch the huskers

(ya that's right, football season)

made these to take over for the game as well.

everytime i make them they seem to be

a very big hit.

cucumber sandwich

1 mini loaf rye bread

1 8oz pack of cream cheese soften

1 package italian recipe mix (shown below)

1 tablespoon mayo

2 cucumbers

dill

Mix cream cheese with italian recipe mix well. Add 1 tablespoon mayo and mix well.

spread on slice of rye bread. top with slice of cucumber.

sprinkle with dill.

in other news: after try outs all week

brooke found out friday she made

show choir.

When I arrived home from work brady comes out of his room and said

"mom, brooke won't shut up about making show choir"

and then behind him comes big sister saying

"guess what, brady, i make show choir"

as she jumps on his back

he proceeds to give her a piggy back ride and they celebrate together.

getting inked??

I'm not really a fan of ink on yourself, but some are. And that's the neat thing about us, we all are different on how we express ourselves and/or things. Or some just like the look.

anywho.....my brother, from another mother (just kidding he's from the same mother, i just think it's cool to say that)

he got inked, and he did this to remember my dad who passed away May 30th this year.

it's pretty cool and has a lot of meaning for him....for josh.

we watched the twins last night....

their giggles made us giggle

rock spank ryder on the back and said
"bad ryder"
we giggled.


ryder took off his shoe and said "hot feet"
we giggled.

they said "thanks" when handed their gold fish.

we giggled at how polite and well mannered they were.

we watched at the cuteness of them and giggled.

God's Artwork....so glad i had my camera as we drove along side the water.

this stuff is good...

it looks like a big beer can

but better then beer.

or for a few more weeks we can try the sun tea.

autumn is coming so cooler weather makes

me crave warm drinks.
