A month after I played in a volleyball game without my knee pads I still have knee troubles. Although healing, it has been a nasty bruise, with little fluid under the skin where it is swollen. But after thinking I broke my knee (is that possible) I think it will heal ok.

The little things...
Well the husband is playing GI Joe this weekend in Wyoming and I am left at home to entertain myself. Which most the time is not hard for me to do. I am quite easily amused.
I found these bowls at the store and HAD to have them;) I love fall and these colors remind me of fall and all the changing colors of the leaves on the trees. (and in my yard, that I should be raking) Also love these colorful measuring spoons below.....
And it would not be fall if we didn't make something with pumpkin in it now would it?? So I decided to make something my kids have loved every fall and that is Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins.
They are really, really good if I do say so myself. So I will give you the recipe so you can make them and try for yourself......
Also at the store I found The Proposal was just newly released and loved the movie so HAD to pick that up too. It's amazing you go to the store for some laundry soap and come home with new bowls and a movie as well. So not only did I spend more than I was meaning too, I also went to get soap to get some laundry done, but instead think I will just sit on the sofa and enjoy my new movie....the laundry can wait, right??

A little dose of vitamin C
In the past 3 days all four of us have been down with the flu. First Brooke came home sick on Wed. and then Thursday night it hit me. Friday am Chuck and Brady both join in the fun. We hoped for someone to put us out of our misery. It was that bad.... But finally today we were able to venture out....well atleast to church. (Taking baby steps here)
Finally now that everyone is ready to eat without losing it we decided to go with soup w/crackers for lunch and then for dessert something to boost our immune system--orange smoothies....yum! Now resting up to start another busy week.
