Attempted Gingerbread House....
It's the day after Christmas and Chuck was called into work, Brady went to friends house to play, so Brooke and I were left home to figure out things. So we decided to attempt this gingerbread house. For it being our first and since I'm not a crafty person at all it turned out....just alright. (Our windows seem to be melting off the house)

Goodies...
Rec'd a lot of goodies from work the other day. My family loves when I bring stuff like this home. Different foods/snacks to try.
These are the best!
My boss gave me a basket of things with this inside.... Apple Pie Schnoops, Yummy! She suggested I sip in slowly.
And I'd love to hug the person who came up with this idea. My girlfriend got me this for Christmas by Eddie Bauer. A goose down ice scraper mitt. I hate it when you're cleaning the car off and the snow fall down you sleeve...yeah not such a good feeling. But this is amazing way of keeping that from happening. Love it. Thanks Deb!

Thought this was a cute gift idea. I bought this one for Brooke for her stocking. I think she will like it as it will personalize her room a bit more.
Realize that Christmas is almost come and gone again. Soon we will take down the decorations and start a "New Year" Hope to make some positive goal changes for the year to come. But today trying to concentate on Chirstmas and all the sights and decorations that make it feel like Christmas.

Cowboy Cookies....
So yeah tonight was one of those nights you just want to go home go to bed and try again in the morning. I locked myself out of the house, then happened to get stuck in a snow bank in front of someones yard, My daughter than proceeds to shut the door and lock us out of the house again. (i know, i know) So it was very pleasing to find this small gift on our door steps, on a night like tonight. Did I mention Chuck is out of town tonight which made it even more crazy with all the madness? Never made cowboy cookies before but hey sounds great!

Alphabet Ornaments
The Glory Players Drama Ministry in Ogallala, NE will be presenting Rescued. Rescued is a drama written to glorify God and give us the assurance that God truly will rescue us from anything in life.
My new alphabet ornaments came in today from Ballard Designs, and I LOVE THEM! I love black and white and lately have been into zebra prints and other neat shades. Found some cool wrapping paper that's white with red polka dots that I've already wrapped around some of my gifts. We still have two kids on our tree yet to buy for and when the kids and I get a free moment to head to the stores again I will let them pick out gifts for kids less fortunate. We've been so busy this week practicing for the performance of "Rescued" at our church that it's been hard to find the time for anything else, but it is so worth it. If you are able to attend one of the 3 performances.....I hope you enjoy and are reminded of the real reason for the season.

ABC Preschool 2003-2004
Found a book Brady made while in Mrs. Neill's ABC preschool class. When asked how to make Chocolate Chip Cook he responded with:
Put in Chocolate Chips. Put in sugar, milk, and nothing else. Stir it.
Make round cookies. Put them on a pan. Put them in the oven
for......(Brady is deciding how many fingers to hold up)
.....six minutes.
Take them out with gloves. They cool for....
(once again deciding how many fingers to hold up)
......eight minutes.
I like chocolate milk with my cookies.
