good read for parents...

i read this today and found it very interesting and so true. if you have 5 extra minutes of your day i would encourage you to read this. it's very hard as parents to keep up on and stand firm. i've had to argue with my daughter at times why she won't be at practice on Sunday at 9:00 am. hopefully it will pay off and bring her to know the importance of what really matters in life. she never fusses over going to a volleyball camp but when it came to church camp this summer i heard for months how she didn't want to go(not that she had a say in the matter. i know child abuse)....but after arriving she had the time of her life and already told us she was making plans to attend next years church camp. keep the fight. it's getting harder to stick to what is right. but keep the fight.

this weekend chuck and brady headed to lincoln for some nebraska football.

they took chuck's friend ben and his son daniel with them, for some man/boy fun.

so brooke and i decided since it was sunny and nice today we would

head to the pumpkin patch.....

sad thing is, sometimes I can relate to this facial expression.

i'm a meatloaf & potato kinda girl....

yes i must admit i love me some meat and potato's

so last night we watched the twins again!!
well brooke was, but i have her watch them at our house
incase she needs help since it's x2 on everything.

anyway, i love the shirts they wore....
on the front is emma their big sister and on the back her
jersey # for volleyball.
emma had a game last night and usually on game nights
we've been watching the boys so the parents
can enjoy the game.
it's a blast for us

2nd place in sidney over the weekend.....
